The primary medium for Sarah’s work is light, which is explored through glass and mixed media to create abstract works that invite association to minimalist sculpture.

Combining fragile glass with the visually dense and robust concrete Luna Fossils are about archeological discovery; about chipping away at something hard and seemingly impermeable to discover something beautiful and luminous within. Luna Fossils are relics of the future.

To enjoy to their full potential, Luna Fossils are to be displayed in areas of strong natural light. The moving sun, bringing the glass alive, will cast light and colour onto the surrounding surfaces.
